Lewis M. Binswanger

Louie Binswanger recently joined SourceGas as the Senior Director of Business Strategy. Having a diverse background bringing over 25 years in the energy industry, Louie has managed several different business segments including areas responsible for engineering, operations, marketing, regulatory and customer service. Louie has held senior management positions including VP Operations, Chief Engineer, General Manager and Director.

Prior to his employment with SourceGas, Louie was employed by TECO Peoples Gas for nine years. In his most recent position as Director Business Strategy and Regulatory, Louie was responsible for the gas divisions overall strategic planning and for directing rate and regulatory matters under the jurisdiction of the Florida Public Service Commission. He joined TECO as the General Manager for the South Florida Region and was responsible for overall management of distribution, transmission, engineering, marketing and retail sales of natural gas to over 100,000 customers in nine counties and 60 municipalities.

Louie is a member of the American Gas Association’s Rates Committee and the Southern Gas Association’s Rates and Regulatory Affairs Committee.

• 1982 Degree / University of Texas  - Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• Registered as professional engineer in the State of Texas.
• 1999 / Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania – Financial and Accounting Executive Program
