Lisa Sparrow

Lisa Sparrow has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure companies including General Motors, BP, and Utilities, Inc.Her work has ranged from the design and construction of operating assets to policy development and executive management.She is currently President and CEO of Utilities, Inc.

Ms.Sparrow is an active member of the professional water community.She has served as an appointee to the US EPA’s National Drinking Water Advisory Council, the US EPA Climate Ready Utilities Working Group and is a member of the Water Research Foundation and National Association of Water Companies where she has served in a number of officer and committee roles including President.She is also a contributing essayist to “The Value of Water:A Compendium of Essays by Smart CEOs”, frequent industry speaker on regulatory policy, and a founding Advisory Board Member of the Chicago chapter of the Women’s Energy Network.

Outside the water industry, Ms. Sparrow sits on the Board of Directors of leading national wholesale florist Kennicott Brothers Company and is an Advisory Board Member of PharMore Drugs, a major Midwest long term care pharmacy.She is an active member of Vistage CEO peer advisory groups, the Economic Club of Chicago and has a strong history of contributing to her community including being an AYSO soccer coach, Junior Achievement consultant, judging local science fairs, leading youth science workshops, tutoring, and years of commitment to animal assisted therapy.She stays involved in causes she cares about through both direct operations as well as Board and Executive Committee membership.

Ms. Sparrow has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University and a Masters in Marketing and Strategy from Northwestern University’s J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
