Director of FRI, Professor of Finance and J.H. Rogers Chair of Money, Credit, and Banking. Previously, Dr. Ferris was the chairman of the Department of Finance at MU and a faculty member at Virginia Tech. He has held visiting appointments at Duquesne University, the University of Memphis, and the University of Pittsburgh. His undergraduate degree is from Duquesne University and his MBA and PhD are from the University of Pittsburgh. He also holds a M.S.S. from the U.S. Army War College and serves as Commander in the U.S. Navy.
