Deana Volle is the program operations coordinator for the Financial Research Institute (FRI) and the Center for Rural Energy Security (CRES), bringing more than a decade of experience in research administration, human resources, and student affairs. Her work centers on strengthening operational effectiveness, improving administrative processes, and supporting research activity across academic units.

Prior to her current role, she held multiple positions within the University of Missouri System’s Office of Human Resources, School of Medicine, and Missouri Student Unions.  Across these roles, her work has emphasized organizational efficiency, staff development, and the creation of inclusive, high-performing work environments.

She earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri, along with Graduate Certificates in Organizational Change & Conflict Management and in Dispute Resolution for Non-Lawyers. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in general studies with an emphasis in Communication, Humanities, and Graphic Design, also from the University of Missouri. Her academic training and professional experience reflect a sustained commitment to organizational excellence, effective leadership, and continuous improvement within higher education.
