Justin Sufan is the Vice President of Rates & Regulatory Strategy for Duke Energy Indiana, where he leads strategy, rates, and efficient cost recovery planning. He works closely with state regulators, customers, and key stakeholders to advance regulatory initiatives that balance customer interests and business objectives.
Prior to joining Duke Energy, Justin spent nearly 19 years at The AES Corporation in various leadership roles. Most recently, as Senior Director of Regulatory & New Products, he led efforts to develop new business ventures to accelerate clean energy adoption. He also served as Director of Regulatory and RTO Policy, overseeing state and federal regulatory matters in Indiana and Ohio, including customer pricing, regulatory planning, and transmission policy.
Justin holds an MS in Energy Policy and Climate from Johns Hopkins University, an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, and a BS from Purdue University Indianapolis.
