FRI is pleased to welcome Kristin Munsch, Senior Associate General Counsel for Commonwealth Edison (ComEd), to our Advisory Board. Her work focuses on regulatory policy and litigation, including the implementation of Illinois’ most recent energy legislation, the Climate & Equitable Jobs Act.

Before working with ComEd, Kristin was the Director for Regulatory and Customer Strategy with National Grid where she focused on policies and strategies to advance state and company clean energy goals. She comes from a consumer advocacy background, having served as Deputy Director for the Illinois Citizens Utility Board and Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois in the Public Utilities Bureau. Before entering law school, she primarily focused on program design and implementation of federal workforce development and public assistance programs for the City of Chicago and State of Illinois.

While new to the Board, Kristin is not new to FRI. having been a speaker for our Advanced Seminar on Transformation Pricing and Rate Design while at the Illinois CUB. She replaces Chad Newhouse as ComEd’s representative on the FRI Board. ComEd has been a Gold Sponsor of FRI since 2005.
